Although the full future of Volition's intellectual property portfolio remains uncertain, one thing is certain: two of them will continue to exist in the form of Saints Row e Red Faction. This confirmation came from Deep Silver, the publisher responsible for both franchises, which announced the good news on X (Twitter) following Volition's closure.

Deep Silver expressed its appreciation to everyone who has been part of Volition, both past and present. In its own words: “We are extremely grateful for the unforgettable work done on Saints Row and Red Faction, whose intellectual properties will remain with PLAION.”
It’s worth noting that the Embracer Group had already announced in early 2023 that three of its publishers would be merged into PLAION next year, with Deep Silver being one of them. The future of Saints Row and Red Faction appears to be secure under this new entity.
Our thoughts go out to everyone at @DSVolition, past and present. We are incredibly grateful for their unforgettable work on Saints Row and Red Faction, whose IPs will live on at @PLAION https://t.co/15PKDs2kpc
