January 22, 2024, at 6:27 p.m.

Palworld, released last week, has just proven to be an instant hit, reaching the extraordinary milestone of 5 million copies sold just three days after its release. By Sunday, January 21, sales had already reached 4 million units. The Pocket Pairrevealed on Monday morning, the 22nd, that sales exceeded 5 million copies.

Initial sales were impressive, with 2 million copies sold in the first few hours of Saturday. The weekend, however, proved to be crucial, significantly boosting sales of the title.

Developers work tirelessly to fix bugs

The Pocketpair team is committed to providing the best possible support to players. On the same day it announced that it had sold 5 million copies, the studio addressed issues related to bugs in Palworld.

“We are currently receiving more than 50,000 inquiries. We sincerely apologize for the delay in our support team’s response. The development team is aware of the serious bugs that are occurring.”

Players have reported several bugs, including issues accessing servers, difficulties in multiplayer mode, and complaints about lost progress. The studio assures players that data can be restored in both single-player and co-op modes, asking for patience and advising players to follow the step-by-step backup guide provided at this link.
