Grounded is set to launch on April 16, and it was the first game shown at the event. Pentiment, on the other hand, will be available the very next day, the 22nd, and was briefly mentioned during the presentation. Both games are creations of Obsidian Entertainment, the studio behind *The Outer Worlds*, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2018.
About Grounded
Grounded is an adventure game that shrinks the player, turning nature into a gigantic and dangerous threat. Originally released in 2020 for PC and Xbox One—and available on Game Pass—the game exited early access two years later. It offers an experience centered on exploration, survival, and resource management, and can be played solo or cooperatively, with cross-play support available since its launch.
About Pentiment

Pentiment, on the other hand, is a narrative adventure set in a medieval village full of mysteries and intrigue. Developed by the same director as *Fallout: New Vegas*, the game focuses on exploration, dialogue, and decision-making.
These games are the first Xbox titles to be released on another console

These releases mark the first time Xbox games have come to a competing console. Grounded and Pentiment were two of the four Microsoft titles scheduled to be released on other platforms.
Microsoft had already announced its intention to make its exclusive games available on other consoles, but it only recently revealed the names of the games. Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves are the other two titles mentioned, but so far, neither Nintendo nor Sony has made any statements regarding these games.
