This highly anticipated 2024 title, developed by Obsidian, known for its rich storytelling and humor, will be released in the Northern Hemisphere fall (between March and June) and will be available directly through the Game Pass catalog for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
Avowed will feature a fast-paced and dynamic combat system, allowing players to switch between spells, physical attacks, pistols, and special abilities at any time. The story returns to a fantasy setting, featuring the fictional world of Eora, shared with Pillars of Eternity. Players will be sent to the distant Aedyr Empire to investigate rumors of a plague with possible ties to an ancient secret personally connected to the protagonist.
