A Applereleased the long-awaited iPhone 15 e iPhone 15 Plus on September 12. These devices feature a powerful processor A16 Bionic and the adoption of the USB-C cable. Although some changes had already been leaked, Apple managed to keep a few surprises under wraps.

Design with rounded corners and more color options

The iPhone 15 lineup features an all-aluminum body, more rounded edges, and a frosted glass back with a more discreet camera cutout. The available colors are black, blue, yellow, green, and pink, all in pastel shades.
The back of the iPhone 15 features a dual-ion finish polished with nano-crystallized particles, giving the Apple device greater durability. In addition, the screen is reinforced with the Ceramic Shield, an ultra-durable material that offers greater protection. The smartphone is also water- and dust-resistant.
Performance of the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus
The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are powered by the A16 Bionic processor, the same one found in the 14 Pro and Pro Max models. This processor features two high-performance cores, a 6-core CPU, and a 5-core GPU. Another highlight is that it consumes about 20% less power.
The Emergency S.O.S. feature is now available in 14 more countries and on 3 continents, although Brazil is not yet included on the list.
Device Camera Array

The rear camera setup includes a 48 MP main sensor with quad-pixel technology, as well as a 12 MP ultra-wide camera. A new feature is the 2x zoom option for the telephoto camera, in addition to the 0.5x and 1x options found in previous models. Several improvements have been made to features such as Portrait Mode, which now automatically detects whether a person or animal is the subject of the image and applies the blur effect without the need for manual activation. Night Mode has also been enhanced with Smart HDR, which makes images more realistic and brighter even in darker environments.
Charging and the long-awaited USB-C

Apple has finally announced that it will adopt the cable USB-C across all its devices, including the iPhone 15 lineup and AirPods, marking the end of the connector Lightning. In addition, the cell phone will support the MagSafe, an induction charging system.
Apple did not provide specific details about the battery capacity, but assured users that it will last all day, with the Plus version offering slightly longer battery life than the standard version. Apple also announced that users can charge their AirPods and Apple Watch directly from the iPhone 15 using the USB-C port.
iPhone 15 Prices and Availability
The iPhone 15 will be available in Brazil starting at R$ 7,299, while the iPhone 15 Plus will start at R$ 8,299. Both models are already available at the Apple Store, although shipping is not yet available.
