The players' intense activity resulted in Starfield being played for a total of 22 million days, with an average of approximately 40 hours per player.

Looking ahead, Bethesda has announced ambitious plans for 2024, including updates and expansions every six weeks starting in February. These additions promise to enhance the player experience by introducing new forms of travel, urban maps, and expanded options for ship customization.
Highlighting its ongoing commitment to Starfield, Bethesda has revealed that the first major expansion, “Shattered Space,” is in development. This expansion promises to enrich the game’s universe with additional stories, gear, and all-new locations, offering players an increasingly immersive experience.
