The new WhatsApp emojis include a head turning from side to side, a head moving up and down, and a portobello mushroom. Rounding out the list are a broken chain, a slice of lemon, and a phoenix.

As pointed out by the WABetaInfo, the beta version has supported these new Unicode 15.1 emojis since previous updates, but they have only now been made available for use in conversations. This new feature is available in the WhatsApp Beta for Android 2.24.6.7.
When will the new WhatsApp emojis be available?
They are expected to be made available to the general public at some point, though no specific date has been set yet. This same set of emojis was also recently introduced on Apple devices with the iOS 17.4 update, which users can already use freely.
