The second beta version of the iOS 16.5 It is already being made available to registered developers. This update comes two weeks after the release of the first beta, which includes a few minor changes. If you're a registered beta tester, you can install the update by opening the Settings app, selecting General, and then Software Update. The update's build number is 20F5039e.

iOS 16.5 doesn't introduce many notable changes. Some new features include new screen recording commands via Siri, which allow you to start or stop a screen recording using the virtual assistant. In addition, a dedicated sports tab has been added to the Apple News app, in response to requests from sports fans.
Code found in iOS 16.5 also suggests that Apple is working on a new quad-box picture-in-picture feature for the TV app, specifically for streaming multiple sporting events at the same time. Currently, Apple offers options such as MLS Season Pass and Friday Night Baseball for live sports. Quad-box picture-in-picture for sports would match the experience offered by other TV streaming services.

Apple is expected to release iOS 16.5 to the public in May, with a new public beta set to be released later this week. In addition, Apple is releasing new beta versions for developers, including iPadOS 16.5 beta 2, watchOS 9.5 beta 2, tvOS 16.5 beta 2, and macOS Ventura 13.4 beta 2.
