A Apple made the most of their event WWDC 2021, to present the iPadOS 15. The new version of the operating system for iPads. It's being rolled out gradually, but you can already check for the update.

In order for the update to be installed, the device must have at least 50% of battery life, or be plugged in during installation. It is also important to have internet access via a Wi-Fi network.
How to update your iPad:

- Go to the Adjustments> General and then Software Update.
- See which system update is currently available for download.
- Tap Download and Install. Please wait while the update is being prepared.
The process doesn't take long—depending on your internet speed—just click on Install Now to start the update, and wait for the installation to finish. The Apple logo with a progress bar will show the installation process for the new update.
